Sorry for the depressing story

It was over a year ago
I have met my first love on a discord server. I was 22 at time, while he was 20, so yes, we did do "that", but we loved each other very much... But he also had another relationship with another girl, and about a week ago, we had an argument, about how i wasn't sexually attracted to him, followed up on Friday that he chose the other girl over me because "he likes mean girls". I was quite understandably upset, but he showed off this relationship to EVERYONE,- MYSELF INCLUDED, and he expected me to just be "ok" with it. And I wasn't... He shoved me under the rug, like my emotions didn't matter... And if they meet her, pretend that I don't exist. Last night, I told him I don't want to be friend anymore and hoped he would turn his life around... I still cared about him, truthfully... He told her the truth after that, and he was dumped... I thought that was the end of it... Well, this morning, in the area he lives in...there was a report of a man who walked right in front of a train... And a few days ago, he said he was considering doing just that... ...he committed suicide by walking into an oncoming train...

As a 22 year adult with autism, I live with my grandparents who are my legal guardians. I met a 20 year old man, whom also has autism from Massachusetts, but my grandparents won't let me see him.
As we are both over the legal age, it's perfectly legal to meet someone online as long as you don't do anything else that is illegal.
However, because of my grandparents, this makes things difficult.
So I ask you, what would you do in my situation?
